# How do I connect SentiSense to Claude, ChatGPT or Codex?

> Add the SentiSense MCP connector to your AI assistant, sign in, and ask about a stock. No API key to paste.

The SentiSense connector lets an AI assistant read our data while it answers you. It uses MCP, the Model Context Protocol, an open standard that lets assistants plug in outside tools. You sign in with your SentiSense account once, and there is no API key to paste. Your plan sets how much data the assistant sees.

| App | How to add it |
|---|---|
| Claude (web, desktop, mobile) | Find SentiSense in [Claude's connector directory](https://claude.ai/directory/sentisense) and connect it |
| Claude Code | Run `claude mcp add sentisense -- npx -y mcp-remote@0.1.38 https://app.sentisense.ai/mcp`, then sign in when prompted |
| Codex | Run `codex mcp add sentisense --url https://app.sentisense.ai/mcp`, then `codex mcp login sentisense` |
| ChatGPT and other apps | Add a custom connector with the URL `https://app.sentisense.ai/mcp` |

Then start a chat and ask about a ticker or the market. The assistant picks the right tool.

## If it does not work

- **It asks you to sign in again.** Sign in with the same SentiSense account.
- **Answers say preview.** The free plan returns a preview on some datasets. See [why data says preview](/docs/support/preview-and-sample-companies/).
- **Your workspace blocks the directory.** Add it as a custom connector with the URL above.
