# Which plan do I need?

> What the free plan, Pro, Pro Max and the Data License each cover, and how to choose.

Choose by how much data you need and where you will show it.

| Try the app and the API, or build against sample data | Free |
| Full data in the app and the API for yourself, with no monthly request cap | Pro |
| The same as Pro, at a higher per-minute request rate | Pro Max |
| Show the data as delivered inside a paid product | Data License: Essentials or Premium |

Data License: Essentials covers the earnings calendar, insider trades, institutional holdings and congressional trades. Premium covers all data returned by the public API. Both include API access at the Pro level.
