The short answer for 2026: Alpha Vantage and Finnhub have the most generous free earnings calendars, Benzinga has the most detail per row and the highest entry price, Financial Modeling Prep covers US exchanges with EPS and revenue estimates from $29 a month, EODHD is the lowest-priced paid global calendar here, and SentiSense returns a full week over MCP on every tier, on the same key as sentiment, analyst and options data.

An earnings calendar API returns upcoming earnings dates as data, and in 2026 the cheapest plan that includes upcoming dates costs anywhere from nothing to $99 a month, depending on the vendor.

Full disclosure up front: SentiSense is our product, so grade our row accordingly. Every price below was read from the vendor's own pages on October 4, 2026. Where a vendor publishes no price, we say so.

Why does an earnings calendar matter this month?

Because the season is lopsided. Among the 1,188 US stocks we cover, as of October 4:

Week of Companies reporting
Oct 12 37
Oct 19 131
Oct 26 326
Nov 2 445
Nov 9 70

The week of October 12 is the big banks. Three weeks later, 445 companies are expected to report in five trading days, 170 of them on Wednesday, November 4 alone. Dates that companies have not yet confirmed can still move.

Benzinga: best for the most detail per row

Benzinga's earnings rows carry revenue and EPS estimates, an importance score from 0 to 5, an exact clock time, a projected or confirmed status, and actuals with surprises. Benzinga describes the coverage as the Wilshire 5000 plus 1,000 additional US equities. It publishes no price for direct access. Through Massive (formerly Polygon.io), the Benzinga Earnings dataset is $99 a month, or $79 a month billed annually, marked for individual use; business use is quoted separately.

Financial Modeling Prep: best low-cost paid plan with revenue estimates

Financial Modeling Prep includes its earnings calendar on every plan and scopes it by plan. The free Basic plan allows 250 calls a day and limits the calendar to a short list of symbols. Starter, at $29 a month or $19 a month billed annually, opens it to US exchanges; Premium at $69 adds the UK and Canada, and Ultimate at $139 is global. Rows carry both EPS and revenue estimates, and one request can span up to 90 days. The plans on the pricing page are for individual use, with display and redistribution licensed separately. It also offers an MCP server that wraps its REST endpoints.

Alpha Vantage: best free calendar

One call returns a list of companies expected to report over the next 3, 6 or 12 months. The documentation does not mark the endpoint premium, and a free key allows 25 requests a day. Its official MCP server lists the same calendar.

Finnhub: best free plan for frequent calls

Finnhub's free plan includes the US earnings calendar with one month of history and new updates, at 60 calls a minute under a personal-use license. The endpoint's rows carry EPS and revenue estimates and the session. Finnhub's hosted MCP server carries an earnings calendar tool. Twenty years of history sits on the All-In-One plan at $3,500 a month, billed annually.

EODHD: best for a global calendar on a budget

The Corporate Events Calendar add-on is $19.99 a month and covers earnings, IPOs and splits across global exchanges, with dates EODHD already lists into 2027. The calendar is also part of its $59.99 and $99.99 plans, but not its free plan. Its MCP server, included on every plan, lists an upcoming-earnings tool.

API Ninjas: best for the widest stated coverage

The free plan, for evaluation and demo use, returns past results only. Upcoming dates, estimates and timing start on the Developer plan at $59 a month, or $39 a month billed yearly, with coverage the vendor puts at more than 50,000 tickers on US and international exchanges.

SentiSense: best for AI agents

Our calendar is narrower than most of the feeds above. It covers 1,188 curated US stocks, looks about 60 days ahead, returns a consensus EPS estimate but no revenue estimate, and is rebuilt a few times a week, not in real time. Session timing is filled in mostly for the current and next week.

Each row carries a flag for whether the company has confirmed the date or the date is an estimate. The MCP connector's calendar tool returns this week, next week or last week in full, grouped by day, on every tier, free included, so "who reports next week?" works inside Claude, ChatGPT, Grok or Codex without a key to paste. On the REST API a free key returns one week per call, and PRO returns the whole forward window for $15 a month, with no per-dataset add-on: the same key covers sentiment, analyst ratings, insider and 13F filings and options positioning. Parameters and fields are in the Calendar API reference; five runnable scripts, starting with next week's schedule grouped by day, are in Python earnings examples.

  • You want an AI assistant to plan your earnings week, with sentiment and analyst data in the same conversation: SentiSense.
