No More Monthly Cap: The SentiSense PRO API Is Now Unlimited

When we launched the SentiSense API in March, the PRO plan came with a ceiling: 100,000 requests per month. Today we are removing that ceiling. PRO is now unlimited on monthly volume. The only limit that remains is a per-minute rate, and we raised that too.

This is a short post. It covers exactly what changed, why we changed it, and a roundup of what we have shipped for builders since the API went live.

What changed

PRO monthly cap: gone. There is no longer a monthly request limit on PRO. Build the dashboard that fans out a dozen calls per page load, run the research loop, poll quotes through the session, and stop counting against a monthly number.
PRO per-minute rate: 200 to 300 requests/minute. A burst guard still exists so a runaway loop cannot take the service down, but it now sits 50% higher.
Free tier: unchanged. Free is still 1,000 requests per month at 30 requests/minute, which is plenty to build and run a personal dashboard or a small research project before you decide to upgrade.

That is the whole change. PRO is still $15 a month.

Why we did it

The API is how most people actually build on SentiSense. A monthly ceiling forces builders to ration calls and architect around a number that should never be the thing they think about. It turns "what can I build" into "how do I stay under quota."

When we sized the cap originally, it was a billing lever, not a capacity limit. Our own load testing confirmed that: the service has comfortable headroom well beyond what the monthly cap implied, and the per-minute rate, not a monthly total, is the right place to keep a guardrail. So we kept the per-minute guard, raised it, and dropped the monthly ceiling entirely.

If you are a builder, the practical version is simpler: on PRO, stop rationing. Make the calls.

Everything we have shipped for builders since launch

The API launched in March as a single, read-only surface for the data and analysis that power app.sentisense.ai. It has not stood still since. A roundup of what landed:

The honest caveats

The per-minute rate limit still applies on PRO: 300 requests/minute.
The free tier is unchanged: 1,000 requests per month at 30/minute.
The API is read-only. You research and build with it; you do not place trades or move money through it.
